E. Renee Crenshaw entered the University of Texas at Austin at the age of 17 as a Government major in the Fall of 1985 on a full academic scholarship. In 1988, prior to graduation from the University of Texas, Ms. Crenshaw entered the CLEO prelaw program at the University of Missouri at Columbia during the summer and then returned during the summer of 1989 as a Teaching Assistant. She then attended Drake University Law School where she graduated in 1993 with her Doctor of Jurisprudence. Ms. Crenshaw then began working at the Office of the Attorney General as an Assistant Attorney General after graduating from law school. Ms. Crenshaw went on to work for Andrew Dunlap & Associates as an associate attorney and later as office manager. Ms. Crenshaw then served as an Administrative Law Judge for the Texas Workers’ Compensation Commission in Dallas and later for the Texas Unemployment Commission in Austin. Ms. Crenshaw has also been employed for Legal Aid of Northwest Texas in Dallas and she served as an insurance defense attorney for the Law Firm of Harris & Harris in Westlake near Austin, Texas. Ms. Crenshaw currently continues practicing law as Attorney/CEO of her own law office where she practices general law with a focus on Family Law. In her free time, Ms. Crenshaw spends time with her son, Benji and volunteering to feed the homeless in South Dallas as well as teaching Vacation Bible School at a local church in Frisco, Texas.
